What a brave little boy!

Last night we went to my moms house for dinner, which is always good and I always get way full. When we were done, Braxton went downstairs and was playing with a couple of his aunts and uncles and a cousin. A little bit later his aunt brings him up, saying he hurt his thumb. So, I ask to see his thumb that he hurt on a 2 lb weight. He uncovers it and it starts bleeding, it wasn't bleeding downstairs. His thumbnail got caught somehow and was just barely hanging on. I freaked out for about a minute. It's a good thing Steve was there, because I wouldn't have been able to cut his nail off. But through everything Braxton didn't cry at all he was so brave and such a good boy. What a cool kid I have.

Honest Opinion!!!!!

I have an idea that I would like everyone's honest opinion about. I have been thinking about doing a womens retreat for over a year. I have several ideas of what we could do, like: hiking, manicures, crafty things, etc. I would really, truly appreciate everyone's opinion on this. Would you think it would be fun to do a 1-2 day retreat? Do you have any ideas where we could do this? What activites would you like to do? Please let me know what you think about this idea, if you would participate. Thank You very much!

What's for dinner???

I came a cross a website that has quite a few fun and easy recipes, it's www.becomingbetty.blogspot.com. But I have a recipe that's easy and good, if you like chicken.
2 large chicken breasts
1 can cream mushroom/chicken soup
1 1/2-2 c. rice, uncooked
2-3c water
Italian dressing(in the bottle)
Mix soup, rice, water and italian dressing together in a baking dish. Add chicken and bake at 350 degrees until chicken is done, 30-45 min.
I just add enough dressing to add some flavor. You can marinade the chicken in the dressing also.
You may not need as much water or you may need more. I just check it part way through to see if I need more to get the rice cooked good and so it's not dry.
Hope you like it.

Way to smart!!!

Braxton is so funny. He is getting way to smart. While I'm in the shower Madison is sleeping and Braxton watches a movie. Well, the past couple of days he's pulled a chair up to the cupbards and made himself some hot chocolate and helped himself to the brownies I made a couple of days ago.
Today, he was brushing his teeth and he has a special cup he has to use, it was full of cold water and he dumped it over my already wet hair. I didn't even get mad. It was pretty funny. What will he do next?

I don't like computers

So I am sitting here trying to transfer pictures of Madison to the computer and I got half of them on the computer twice and the other half aren't there and I can't find them anywhere on the computer to put on my blog. So when I figure out this stupid stuff you'll finally get to see the newest member of our family.

Here is the addition to our family before we had Madison. Ernie was only with us for a short time before we needed to give her away. Braxton was a little sad, but we'll get a puppy or another kitty when the kids get old enough to help out a little more.
